As we are at the beginning of the New Year, it’s a great time to reflect on the books we’ve read throughout the year. For me, this year has been filled with great books, as usual, mainly from the business world but also a couple of ones on parenting. I’ve always been passionate about learning about the latest strategies and trends in business. Still, I’ve also found myself diving deeper into the world of parenting and exploring new ways to raise happy children and siblings.

Hopefully, the business books I’ve read will help to broaden my horizons and become more efficient and effective in my work. The parenting books will prove to have given me valuable insights into how to be a better parent. From the latest research on child development to practical tips from various business stories, these books have provided a wealth of information I can apply to my daily life.

28 books of my 2022:

Stepan Smolen — Cesta na Západ

Will Smith — Will

Baam!! What a book to kick off the 2022 year. Super recommend reading it, but even more to listening to it. Will Smith did the recording himself, and it's AMAZING. Great stories, life lessons, and 100% openness about both good and bad stuff. I was looking forward to all the car drives, washing dishes, and other opportunities to listen 🙂

Eric Jorgenson — The Almanack of Naval Ravikant

If I ever get to write a book, it will most likely be in a similar style as this one 🙂 I would disagree with many of the thoughts mentioned in the book however a much, much-recommended read for all!
Very to the point, and thought-provoking, with no bullshit and fluff (as most books) but plain ideas, thoughts, advice, and lessons learned. Great read!

Laura Markham — Peaceful Parent, Happy Siblings

Finally, again a 5/5 book on parenting would give a 9/10. Great examples, backed up with data and research, not just I have kids, and this is what worked for me. Tons of inspiration put this book into the category to re-read again. Highly recommended for all already current or future parents of more than one child!!

As we move into the new year, I’m excited to continue learning and growing in these areas. Whether you’re a busy professional or a parent, I highly recommend taking on the habit of reading 🙌
